The ACT Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs (OATSIA) is seeking Expressions of Interest from artists, stallholders, food vendors, and community groups to participate in Reconciliation Day 2025 on Monday, 2 June 2025.
Held annually on the Reconciliation Day public holiday, this event is a vibrant celebration of culture, performances, and activities designed to spark conversations and deepen understanding of our shared National story and the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Reflecting the ongoing connection between past, present, and future, this year’s theme encourages us to learn from past lessons while looking ahead and continuing the journey toward reconciliation.

We aim to create a diverse and engaging event that showcases the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures while connecting the broader community to the importance of reconciliation.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Artists and Performers: Share your talents and stories.
- Stallholders and Food Vendors: Offer goods, crafts, or culinary delights that celebrate culture.
- Community Groups: Present initiatives that contribute to reconciliation and community connection.
While not every submission may be selected, every Expression of Interest will be carefully reviewed to ensure a vibrant and diverse program.
How to Apply
Complete the relevant application form and submit it, along with any required supporting documents, to reconciliationACT@act.gov.au. Detailed information can be found within each application form listed below. Expressions of Interest are due by 28 March 2025.
