You'll welcome guests, provide them with information about the day's program, and help them find their way. If you receive feedback or complaints, listen politely and offer a feedback form for them to complete. For any challenging situations, the Volunteer Coordinator or another event staff member will be there to support you.
Activation Assistant
Bring activities to life! As an Activation Assistant, you'll guide attendees on how to engage with activities in designated spaces. If any uncomfortable situations arise, don't hesitate to ask the Volunteer Coordinator or another event staff member for help.
Rover
Be the versatile hero of the event! As a Rover, you'll assist with various tasks, ensuring items are returned and kept tidy. You might cover breaks for other volunteers or help with venue resets and cleaning. Be ready to step in wherever needed, especially in areas with low volunteer numbers. For any difficult situations, the Volunteer Coordinator or another event staff member will be there to assist you.
Venue Assistant
Keep the show running smoothly! As a Venue Assistant, you'll welcome attendees to workshops and speaker sessions, ensuring walkways are clear and directing people to entry and exit points. If any issues arise, the Volunteer Coordinator or another event staff member will be available to help.
